Hallway Time Portal!

HELLO BLOG READERS. It feels great to have a chance to write for you guys again! I know the month of October seems like it was completely dead but trust me it was not! So here I am (all the way into November) filling you in on the ever-exciting week of Homecoming!

So for those of you that do not know, Homecoming is the tradition of welcoming back old alumni into the school typically during the Fall and usually done during the Homecoming Game. At Edison Homecoming Week is filled with competitions within the different classes (immature Freshmen vs. annoying Sophomores vs. amazing Juniors vs. loser Seniors). Our Homecoming theme this year was Time Warp and each class was allowed to select a period in time. Us Juniors chose Medieval which was an excellent choice because it was very easy to use! The first competition was the Hallway Time Portal *cue weird alien spaceship noise* and it came out a lot better than I thought it would! Each Class was assigned about 30 feet of the main A hallway and were given 3 hours (originally 2 and a half but all the other classes outnumbered our objection) to go crazy with it.

And the results were amazing! Me being biased I only have pictures of my amazing team of hard workers and of our results:

We made amazing banners blazoning with Eagle Pride and telling our Football team to
Beat the Majors at the Homecoming game.

These three girls are working hard on making paper links. 1st grade flashback!

Here my ladies are creating horses, 2013 crests and "stained glass"

My awesome new buddy Olivia and I

These two girls did an amazing job with recreating the "castle" scene behind me.

Our main attraction!

My awesome 2013 classmates who did an AMAZING job with the Hallway Time Portal!
It was moment like the teamwork that went into the Hallway that make me love Edison so much and how my fellow Juniors always pull through!
